III. Installation instruction

1. The location of solar heat collector must expose to the sun,and exists no shelter from sunshine all around and above. It must be fixed firmly in order to be protected from the damage of high wind.

2. The installation of main parts of the system shall be in order of support ,water tank and the vacuum tube heat collector

3. When assembling the vacuum tube ,put firstly some lubricant such as detergent to the mouth of tubes .Put on secondly the dust resistance ring. Insert (with turning) slowly the tube into water tank along the axis of the hole on the tank. Withdraw a little the tube ,and insert into the hole of the end seat .Assemble firstly two tubes to the two end holes of the water tank .Adjust the clearanca between the tank ho1e and the vacuum tube to be uniform .Fix it to the tank with screws.then,assemble the rest of tubes.

4. Following finish of installation of main parts, tubes and pipe connection start to proceed .

The connection will include for water out and in, overflow tube,vent.Connection of vent and overflow tube is especially important,as it will otherwise break the water tank.

5. Filling cold water to the vacuum tube solar heat collector which is empty but heated for long under sunshine is prohibited.Because,that will cause the explosion of tubes.It is recommended to fill water in the morning or during night time.

6.To ensure a normal work of the water heater during the winter time, it is recommended to protect the pipe line from frozen weather or evacuate the pipe line in order to avoid freeze and crack.

a. Installation of water heater for flat roof

1.An installation form of flowing down naturally is the most popular one.The  installation can be configured as single tube for water in or out.or separated cold and hot water tubes . Different accessories are furnished for the automatic control of level and temperature.For the installation of automatic control accessories,read the instruction carefully.

2 Installation form of pressing up type is for the zone wih high annually average temperature.

b. Installation of solar water heater for sloping roof

1. Crossing type water heater is suitable for roof with 30℃ slope and low ridge.

2 Adjustable type of water heater is suitable for roof  with 60℃ slope and higher ridge.

3. Crossing type and adjustable type heater are parts interchangeable for re-configuration.

c. Installation of solar water heater system

1. Parallel connection is suitable for the user requiring larger hot water

volume and flow.

2 .Serial connection is suitable for the user requiring less hot waler volume and flow.

3 The combination of parallel and serial connection can be practically configured as required.

4.Lightning rod must be installed 50cm higher than the water tank,and

Connect to the lightning rod of the building.

d Installation of auxiliary electrical heater

1.Installation of electrical heater must be done by professional personnel.

2 .Three wires flexible cable with cross-sectional area not less than 1.75m㎡

 is used for the connection of power supply.

3 .The short wire in dual color, yellow and green, is for the grounding of solar water heater .Fix the bared end of the copper wire together with the dual color wire of power supply to the middle terminate of terminal block with mark.Then, fix other end of three wires of the power supply cable are fixed to the corresponding terminates located in the terminal block of electrical leakage protection plug,in order to avoid short circuit .The length of bare section of the copper wire should be controlled at around 5mm The bare section length of the dual color grounding wire shout be 10— 12mm longer than that of other two wires.

4 .Since the wiring has been finished,clamp down the power supply cable.Put on the cover of the terminal block ,and fasten it with screw with lead wire of electrical heater downward.

5.There is a silver soldering terminal fixed at an end f the dual color grounding wire.Fix it with a BT3×10self-tapping screw to the rivet hole located at the lower part of the end of water tank.
